Trish Wilson is blogging up a storm about this case: <a href=\"http:\/\/trishwilson.typepad.com\/blog\/2005\/05\/more_on_the_gen.html\">here<\/a> on her blog, and <a href=\"http:\/\/members.aol.com\/asherah\/shockome.html\">here <\/a>and <a href=\"http:\/\/members.aol.com\/asherah\/shockome.press_release.html\">here<\/a> on her other website.<\/li>\n<li>Speaking of Trish, I&#8217;ve been meaning to point out these two studies she blogged about: One finding that <a href=\"http:\/\/trishwilson.typepad.com\/blog\/2005\/04\/new_study_shows.html\">marriage counseling<\/a> doesn&#8217;t work very well, and one finding that &#8220;adolescents who take <a href=\"http:\/\/trishwilson.typepad.com\/blog\/2005\/04\/public_vs_priva.html\">public virginity pledges<\/a> are just as likely to engage in sexual activity as those who do not, according to a study of Los Angeles and San Francisco teens.&#8221;<\/li>\n<li>Damn, does this piss me off. Remember that pro-tolerance ad from the United Church of Christ which ABC refused to run because (they claimed) ABC&#8217;s had a policy against accepting ads from religious groups? <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ucc.org\/news\/r050305.htm\">Apparently it&#8217;s only gay-accepting religious groups they turn down.<\/a> ABC is running explicitly &#8220;faith-based&#8221; ads from the very religious &#8211; and very gay-hating &#8211; Focus on the Family.
