It seems to consist of helping sex workers, for instance by allowing them to work in pairs away from the street and offering them help with any drug or alcohol problems that might have forced them into prostitution,  raising awareness among johns and pursuing exploitative pimps and people traffickers.<\/p>\n<p>Changes like this don&#8217;t always produce the desired effect when they&#8217;re implemented, but it looks reasonable on paper.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The British government has set out a new prostitution strategy.
