I am excited! The musical group Pneuma<\/a> has set one of my poem to music for their upcoming album, which will be called Who Has Seen The Wind<\/em>. The album has not yet been officially released, but you can listen to the setting of my poem if you go to their homepage<\/a>, and click on the second track, “Trembling\/Light.” They don’t have the lyrics up on their website, so here is the poem. It’s from my first book, The Silence of Men<\/em><\/a>:<\/p>\n

Light<\/h3>\n

In the dream, my life was smoke: I couldn\u2019t breathe.
\nSo I ran, unwrapping myself down the beach
\ntill your skin, the ocean, lapped at my knees.
\nI dove in. Your voice was a current,
\na melody gathering words to itself
\nfor us to sing, and we sang them,
\nand they swirled around us, iridescent fish
\nbringing light to the world you were for me;<\/p>\n

and then I was water, a river
\nwashing the night from your flesh,
\nand I cradled your body rising in me
\ntill you were clean, glowing,
\nand when you surfaced, glistening,
