Her majesty is pleased!<\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image2953\" src=\"https:\/\/amptoons.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/11\/sydneys_3rd_07.jpg\" alt=\"sydneys_3rd_07.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Then one of the boots fell on Daddy&#8217;s foot, and that was <em>even better!<\/em><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image2988\" src=\"https:\/\/amptoons.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/12\/sydneys_3rd_09.jpg\" alt=\"sydneys_3rd_09.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Daddy helps put the new boots on.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image2989\" src=\"https:\/\/amptoons.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/12\/sydneys_3rd_10.jpg\" alt=\"sydneys_3rd_10.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>These boots are made for stomping!<\/p>\n<p>Once the party wound down, Sydney took her dress off (she&#8217;s getting better, but she&#8217;s still not a huge fan of the whole clothing thing) &#8212; but she kept the purple butterfly boots on.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image2990\" src=\"https:\/\/amptoons.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/12\/sydneys_3rd_11.jpg\" alt=\"sydneys_3rd_11.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Checking out the boots!<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"image2992\" src=\"https:\/\/amptoons.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2006\/12\/sydneys_3rd_14.jpg\" alt=\"sydneys_3rd_14.jpg\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Now, not all the grown-ups who wanted to be there could attend Sydney&#8217;s birthday party, so the next day we had <em>another <\/em>birthday party for Sydney. With more presents to open. Some people really live the good life, don&#8217;t they?<\/p>\n<p>The presents includied a horse head, seen above. (It also comes with hoofs, which make clip-clopping sounds when Sydney walks in them.). And a Backyardigans pirate ship, which Sydney wanted to play with immediately, not understanding that the grown-ups around her just wanted her to open more presents.<\/p>\n<p>This year was a real milestone, by the way, in that this is the first present-opening occasion in which Sydney has been more interested in the <em>presents <\/em>than in the opportunity to rip wrapping paper off parcels.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Opening the purple butterfly boots sent by a set of grandparents.
