The police attacked protesters with tear gas, rubber bullets.  ((This protest was inter-generational, and included a lot of old people and children.  I don&#8217;t want to emphasise that, because that implies that I might think it was OK if the police had just attacked people in their twenties, but I thought you should know.))  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bradblog.com\/?p=4498\">You<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/xicanopwr.com\/2007\/05\/may-day-violence-at-los-angeles-macarthur-park\/\">can<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/brownfemipower.com\/?p=1372\">read<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/la.indymedia.org\/news\/2007\/05\/197834.php\">more<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;m sorry I didn&#8217;t write sooner, I&#8217;ve been sick.  <a href=\"http:\/\/brownfemipower.com\/\">Brownfemipower<\/a> is on it.  I particularly recommend <a href=\"http:\/\/brownfemipower.com\/?p=1370\">State Violence is Not an Anomaly<\/a> (if you&#8217;ve got a faster internet connection than I have).
