{"id":3556,"date":"2007-08-06T06:22:18","date_gmt":"2007-08-06T13:42:06","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.amptoons.com\/blog\/archives\/2007\/08\/06\/anyone-want-a-slightly-used-politician\/"},"modified":"2007-08-06T06:22:18","modified_gmt":"2007-08-06T13:42:06","slug":"anyone-want-a-slightly-used-politician","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amptoons.com\/blog\/?p=3556","title":{"rendered":"Anyone want a slightly used politician?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve decided New Zealand needs to export Maurice Williamson, one of our opposition politicians.  <a href=\"http:\/\/www.scoop.co.nz\/stories\/PO0708\/S00063.htm\">Maurice Williamson<\/a> recently joined the debate on the &#8216;obesity epidemic&#8217;:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>If some people can&#8217;t lose weight no matter what. how come there were not fat people in the Nazi concentration camps?<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Concentration camps? Of course that&#8217;s the solution to the &#8216;obesity epidemic&#8217; why didn&#8217;t anyone think of it sooner.  That&#8217;s the way to make my body socially acceptable.<\/p>\n<p>Although rest assured Maurice Williamson doesn&#8217;t actually want to put us in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nzherald.co.nz\/topic\/story.cfm?c_id=500821&#038;objectid=10455790\">concentration camps<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>When Sainsbury asked Mr Williamson on air if it was wise to use such an analogy, the MP replied: &#8220;Maybe it wasn&#8217;t&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>But he said it was a good example of people getting a very low level of nutrients and working hard.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;No one&#8217;s saying put them in a concentration camp but it is important to know that if you are working hard burning calories and not taking them into your mouth you won&#8217;t put on weight.&#8221;<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>He does understand that people died from having a low level of nutrients and working hard doesn&#8217;t he?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve decided New Zealand needs to export Maurice Williamson, one of our opposition politicians.
