The main political issues I&#8217;ve followed  have been <a href=\"http:\/\/capitalismbad.blogspot.com\/2007\/07\/australian-labor-party-taking-stand.html\">union<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/capitalismbad.blogspot.com\/2005\/10\/employed-unemployed.html\">issues<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/capitalismbad.blogspot.com\/2005\/12\/people-racism-media-racism-and.html\">racism<\/a> against <a href=\"http:\/\/capitalismbad.blogspot.com\/2006\/09\/in-which-i-write-about-something-else.html\">immigrants<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/capitalismbad.blogspot.com\/2006\/06\/what-happens-after.html\">indigenous issues<\/a>, particularly the <a href=\"http:\/\/capitalismbad.blogspot.com\/2007\/07\/were-here-today-in-solidarity.html\">invasion<\/a> of the <a href=\"http:\/\/capitalismbad.blogspot.com\/2007\/06\/justice-for-mulrunji-doomadgee-and-all.html\">Northern Territories<\/a>.  The common theme in all this is that Australian Prime Minister is an evil racist troglodyte. ((The other theme is that the opposition Labour party also sucks beyond the telling of it))<\/p>\n<p>Australia had elections yesterday and after eleven years in power the Howard government was finally defeated.  I&#8217;m not really celebrating that &#8211; not being a huge fan of the Australian Labour party.  But I do take some small joy, because it looks like John Howard lost his seat, and won&#8217;t even get back into parliament.
