He puts forward right-wing arguments <a href=\"http:\/\/www.prospect.org\/csnc\/blogs\/ezraklein_archive?month=01&#038;year=2008&#038;base_name=back_into_mandates\">against universal health care (aka mandates)<\/a>, which will make it easier for Republicans to argue against that same legislation later on. And people <a href=\"http:\/\/www.mydd.com\/story\/2008\/1\/6\/191650\/5295\">underestimate how progressive<\/a> Clinton has been.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/obsidianwings.blogs.com\/obsidian_wings\/2008\/01\/gender-and-new.html\"><strong>Clinton <\/strong>is awful on foreign policy<\/a>, and won&#8217;t fight for progressive causes. And the  &#8220;experience&#8221; candidate <a href=\"http:\/\/matthewyglesias.theatlantic.com\/archives\/2008\/01\/compare_and_contrast_1.php\">doesn&#8217;t really have much experience<\/a>. Although like a lot of folks, I&#8217;m considering voting for her just to say &#8220;fuck you&#8221; to <a href=\"http:\/\/shakespearessister.blogspot.com\/2008\/01\/in-which-i-talk-about-something-other.html\">the misogynistic press<\/a>. (See also <a href=\"http:\/\/www.witigonen.com\/2008\/01\/09\/hillary-clinton-sexism\/\">here<\/a>, and <a href=\"http:\/\/nevikmoore.livejournal.com\/273404.html\">here<\/a>, and many other places.)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Edwards <\/strong>talks a good game, but <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailykos.com\/storyonly\/2008\/1\/2\/151236\/2183\">his voting record isn&#8217;t progressive<\/a>. And he has <a href=\"http:\/\/www.amptoons.com\/blog\/archives\/2007\/11\/04\/gender-ratios-of-presidential-campaign-staffs\/\">the fewest women among his senior staffers <\/a>of any major candidate except Guliani &#8212; a fact that I was reminded of when Edwards reflexive response to the ridiculous &#8220;Hilary tearing up&#8221; story was <a href=\"http:\/\/pandagon.blogsome.com\/2008\/01\/07\/6531\/\">a sexist remark<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Obama is all talk, no substance.
