{"id":4422,"date":"2008-05-12T17:16:55","date_gmt":"2008-05-13T00:16:55","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blogbullet.wordpress.com\/?p=672"},"modified":"2008-05-12T17:16:55","modified_gmt":"2008-05-13T00:16:55","slug":"revolution-and-white-privilege","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/amptoons.com\/blog\/?p=4422","title":{"rendered":"Revolution and White Privilege"},"content":{"rendered":"<div><\/p>\n<p>Neela <a href=\"http:\/\/www.hyphenmagazine.com\/blog\/2008\/05\/once-and-future-radicals-richa.html\">blogs<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>I&#8217;ve recently watched a couple of documentaries about radical movements in the 1960s and 70s:<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pbs.org\/wgbh\/amex\/guerrilla\/\">Guerrilla: The Taking of Patty Hearst<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.pbs.org\/independentlens\/weatherunderground\/\">The Weather Underground<\/a>\u00a0and a narrative film about the Naxalite movement in West Bengal called\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/fest08.sffs.org\/films\/film_details.php?id=15\">Calcutta My Love<\/a>.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Both of the first two films were fascinating but left me feeling irritated at the ludicrousness of it all &#8211;
