Every nomination includes a link to the post in question, and man, there&#8217;s a lot of great reading there. (I&#8217;m happy to say that four Alas posts &#8211; one each by Bean and PinkDreamPoppies and two by me &#8211; are included on the list).<\/p>\n<p>(The other thing that kept me from posting more today was water on the floor seeping out from the furnace room, which turned out to be due to frozen water in the water-dumping tube attached to the smaller furnace. I know I&#8217;m a homeowner because my first thought, on finding out where the water was coming from, was: &#8220;Great!
