This week I pre-ordered a couple copies from an independent bookstore in Olympia whose owner is well-connected within the American Booksellers Association. (One’s for our house, one’s a Hanukkah present for my daughter’s best friend.) Early preorders from the right places –like this shop– can occasionally cause the darnedest things to pop up on the statistical radar. Do you know if Amulet will be sending out advance promo copies to stores? If so, I know of a couple of shops whose owners need to see it.
