A Knitter’s Home Companion is running a contest for a free copy of Hereville. To enter the contest, just follow the link and leave them a comment!
So far no comments have been left, so the odds of winning are looking good. The contest runs until January 22nd. Thanks, Knitter’s Home Companion! KHC is a blog about knitting and kid’s books, so you can see that Hereville fits right in with their themes.
Thank you for linking to my Hereville Giveaway contest. Comments are coming in–a great list of favorite children’s book is growing. The fun has begun.
Your fan,
Michelle Edwards
By the way, as a knitter, I adored the knitting elements of Hereville. (I also loved the Bone and Zelda references! And also the whole book.)
Thanks!
But… There’s a Zelda reference? :-p
…isn’t that Link fighting a dragon in Mirka’s monster book?
LOL!
You know, that’s the one and only thing in Hereville I didn’t draw myself? Jake Richmond, who colored Hereville, drew that dragon illustration. (I thought it would be cool if the illustration wasn’t drawn in my style, so I asked Jake to do it. He did a totally kick-ass job, too.)
Anyway, Jake is a big gamer person, so probably that is Link. I’ll ask him.
Ha! Nice. :D
