If you have a top hat around, and a small child, sooner or later you’ll put the one on top of the other. It’s irresistable.
Sydney is actually quite tolorant of this habit, and sometimes seems to enjoy it.
Although, like the adults around her, what Sydney enjoys more than wearing the hat is crowning others with it.
I like the facial expression in the first photo. It says “OK, this is all fun and games. It’s cool. But remember, I’m the one who will be picking out your nursing home.”
Who’s the other person in the picture?
That’s the scary thing. We have no idea who that was or who took the photos or when the photos were taken.
Just kidding. It’s Emily.
To give a bit more info, Emily’s an old friend of ours – former housemate, that sort of thing – who was visiting us last month, when these photos were taken. Here’s her webpage.
The preggar’s person in the second picture down that is only half shown in the back is me.
And I agree Robert, the top one is absolutely wonderful – then again, as her mother, I’m biased about any picture that she’s in.
She’s got such an expressive, wise face! I can’t begin to imagine the joy she must bring to your household. You’re a lucky bunch.
She’s really getting big!
What a cute, expressive, wise-beyond-her-years face. Adorable!
AAAAaaarggh my GAAAArd that child is so cute.
(wanting to pinch cheeks like Italian mama)
Ok, that child is just gorgeous! Thanks for the pick-me-up first thing in the morning.
She’s super cute! And you can tell she knows it too. Just look at those expressions. She’s totally going “yes, you can put this top hat on me. I know how cute you will find it when you do.”
I like that last picture. Sydney looks very satisfied.
You know, you should all post your pictures. :D
