Hi Amp. Here’s a link to my proposed compromise for the marriage debate. I think I have worded it better before, but that gets the gist of it. I’d love some comments.
Please consider how good it would be to get this resolved asap, and remember that we could always re-examine the issue of same-sex conception rights in the future. The main reason we are in Iraq right now is because gay marriage was an issue in the last election. If the blogosphere takes this seriously, and doesn’t become to stubbornly entrenched in prideful defense of prior positions, we could force Congress to action and change the dynamics of politics, which would help the environment, ease muslim hatred of the west, free up resources to cities and towns and health care, etc etc… so please take it seriously…
