160 Years Ago in February

Bhupinder blogs:

This little book was first published 160 years ago on 21st February 1848.

The world has not stopped listening to it ever since.

Thanks to Marxists Internet archives, you can actually now listen to the audio.

One Response to 160 Years Ago in February

  1. What, no comments?

When tiny munchkin (who is no longer tiny, but so many people only know of him that way on the net …) got to be the age of Political Maturity, The Communist Manifesto was one of a stack of poly-sci books I bought him.

Admittedly I also gave him Wealth of Nations and a few other books, ranging across the entire spectrum of political thought, but it was The Communist Manifesto which affected his thinking the most. I doubt he’s going to become a Pinko Commie any time soon, but at least I’ve done my duty and exposed him to Marx.
