    Fightin’ Lincoln is a great theme. Is there a blog devoted to collecting all the iterations of it? I feel compelled to draw one myself.

    I’m a bit disappointed that Mikhaela is retiring from political cartooning. As of a few years ago she was one of a very few women political cartoonists. I’m not sure if that’s still true today, but, when I look at the editorial cartoons in like, Yahoo! news, almost everything is by men. Not everything, but almost everything.

    And so I looked up to her. I mean, I still do. And I understand why she’s choosing to stop cartooning now. But still.

  4. Anyone here familiar with animator Ralph Bakshi? I just came across this cartoon that he did for Paramount in the late ’60s. A metaphor on the Vietnam war, perhaps?
