Sorry I was unable to do this. I would have loved to. But Saturday night I was sitting in front of my tent at Starved Rock State Park pretty much immoble after going on a 5-mail hike in weather that was about 32 degrees higher than I had expected (not to mention full sun because the leaves hadn’t come out of the trees) with my Scout Troop. Not that 5 miles is all that bad, but at Starved Rock the trail goes up and down 150-step stair cases about 5 or 6 times if you hike the length of the park and back. Those were killer. Plus numerous smaller ones….
