Monday baby blogging – Maddox on a Quilt

Sometimes, like last week, I have a really neat idea for a baby blogging theme.

Maddox on a Quilt

And sometimes I don’t have any ideas, so I just stick up some cute photos of Maddox lying on a quilt or something.

Guess which kind of week this is? More pics below the fold.

    Oh, she is adorable!

I really like the quilt, is it handmade?

  3. kathy a says:

she is gorgeous! the quilt is, too.

my daughter pretty much had no hair until she was 2 — just little whisps. we used to call her our bug, because of the big eyes. now she is a junior in HS, with long blond hair and fingernails painted in kanji, and she is plotting her escape to college. sigh.

    Cute baby!

  5. Jake says:

This was right before she farted like six times and then threw up on me, right?

  6. Nella says:

Awww! She looks like she’s plotting something. :)

Looking at a smile like that, how can this be anything but a GOOD day.

  8. Tiger Spot says:

I like that last photo — she looks so interested in the world.

(Or possibly, given the hand position, evil mastermindish. “No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die.”)

  9. Ledasmom says:

I love these pictures because, though Maddox is of course totally adorable, I can look at her without having any urge to ever have another of those little critters ever again.
Kittens, on the other hand, kittens I have no defenses against.

What a cutie. Unlike ledasmom, looking at Maddox gives me the urge to have another one of those. A totally impractical urge, alas. Now if I felt this way and I’d had an abortion, the anti-choice folks would be busy telling me how much I regretted the abortion. But I haven’t. Does my mourning the loss of my unconceived child mean that it was fully human?

  11. gengwall says:

Does my mourning the loss of my unconceived child mean that it was fully human? LOL – only to a certain segment of Catholics I would think.

  12. Nella says:

Yes Dianne. You should be mourning every period as a pre-concieved child. (because you don’t know me, i’d better point out that this is sarcasm)

(Or possibly, given the hand position, evil mastermindish. “No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die.”)

If so James is in for it this time. There’ll be no defense for him if Maddox activates the cute ray, which she obviously is. And if he did manage to escape she could always use the sonic disrupter (aka cry.)

You should be mourning every period as a pre-concieved child.

But then were all those years I spent abstinent after I became fertile (and I was a shockingly late bloomer socially) immoral? I never have been able to get a proper answer from a believer on that one…

    Maddox is very gorgeous :):)

My daughter loved seeing the photos of her too! (“Awwwwwwwwwwwww look at the BABY!!”)

    Have fun :):)
