Monday Baby Blogging: Sydney In An Old-Fashioned Dress

Another one-photo baby blogging, I’m afraid; I’ll try and do a longer baby blogging next week.

This week it’s Sydney in an old-fashioned dress, which I think one of her grandmas found for her on Ebay. Being the master of cliche I am, I’ve put the photo in sepia. Sydney had a cold the day I took this picture, which actually worked out pretty well, in that she actually stood still for the camera for a change. The photo’s pretty big, so I’ve stuck it below the fold.

She is so sweet. We should get our girls together; there would probably be some kind of cuteness density overload that would rip the time-space continuum. But in a good way, where nobody would be able to be mean or angry ever again and everything would be nice.

    I like her boots!

I also like how her eyes are closed, and it looks as though she’s barely able to stand up, she’s so tired. It’s probably because of her cold.

I would go for that, except that your kids are bound to have picked up genes and stuff from you and your wife. What if Sydney and Maddox caught GOP cooties? I mean, sure, they SAY the cootie shot provides protection, but….

  4. Robert says:

Dude, she goes around taking teddy bears from babies, not because she wants them but because she doesn’t want the baby to have them. The GOP evil is already in the bone.

Sydney doesn’t just take the teddy bears from Maddox; she also hands the bears out to whatever adults are in the room. What’s she doing is redistribution of material resources by force. And if that’s not liberal, what is?

  6. Robert says:

Sounds like she’s a damn authoritarian statist. The cute dresses fooled us.

  7. Charles says:

She’s just trying to save comrade Maddox from turning into a propertarian!

This whole thread has me cracking up. You all just made my day :)
And sydney is adorable as always – I wish I had those curls!

Oh my gooooosh, I’m in love. Sorry for gushing, but how beautiful and how classic. This pic is fabulous. Sepia was the perfect choice for this image. And frankly, I’m so happy to be able to look at this picture and take a break from thinking about racist, sexist fools. Man…..enjoying our beautiful, amazing kids. That’s what we should all be about. Caring for and loving our beautiful….amazing….kids.

You know, if you sent that picture to HBO, you might be able to get her a part as a future sister-wife on “Big Love.” :-)
