For anyone who is interested I wrote an article recently in where I interviewed Dr. As’ad AbuKhalil and FAIR representative Peter Hart. The article was about U.S. media bias on the coverage of Israel. This is my original article which was translated by journalist Ashraf Allam.

I think this is more easily attributed to the “tyranny of balance” than to a belief that “the life of the Jew is more precious than the of the Arab.” Even in cases like global warming, they don’t see it as “objective” if they don’t include “two sides.” If someone with enough clout argued that the sky was paisley, the media would hold a debate on that. But more generally, there are a lot of biases in the discussion that often work in different directions.
That is true too, but one can’t overlook the underlying racism of white v. Arab as well. But, I’m sure there can be plenty of room for debate between what is more attributable to that WaPo picture between the Israeli and the Palestinian.
