Really good story, and a nice twist on “anti-hero.” Congratulations on the recognition — it’s very well-deserved.

  3. Lloyd Webber says:

I’m Sierra Leonean, andI really did not appreciate the story at all. I have friends who were former child soldiers and this just tries to demonize them in a very unfair manner. The writer should def’n check her privilege when handling such sensitive subject matter.
