Molar Tattoo

Following Alan Keyes campaign is addictive. You get to read so many odd things, some only tangentially related to Alan Keyes.

Today, while reading the Chicago Tribune story Keyes, state GOP gearing up blame campaign, I read this:

In actuality, Keyes’ candidacy largely was the work of a former Fitzgerald colleague, state Sen. David Syverson of Rockford. Syverson is a Republican who says he’s so dedicated to the cause that seven years ago he got a tattoo of the GOP’s elephant logo on one of his upper molars.

The conservative GOP republican state Senator has a tattoo on his molar? I guess I’m out of the loop because I didn’t even know molar tattoos existed.

I immediately googled, and discovered a photo of a molar tattoo here. According to sugarray.com, the tooth owner “Iron” Mike said:

Got the words #1 Dad on my cap to signify what being a Dad is all about: being #1 to their kid no matter what!

I guess molar tattoos say pro-family like nothing else!

I suspect the rumors at the Kos site will be found to be way overblown. The
Sun times indicates the book was distributed at the RNC. So, presumably, someone would know if it claims these things. On the other hand, I’m sure the book will say something scandalous. Kitty Kelly’s books always do!

It just gets stranger and stranger with that campaign *marvels.*

I have a back molar that needs extracting, but I have been putting off the trip to the dentist for months now because I hate going to the dentist. To willingly submit myself to the molar tattooing process is beyond my powers of conception, wonder girl. And not a little squeemish, too.

And did you catch footage of Keyes singing “Over the Rainbow”?

    Can Keyes sing?

I have to admit, I can’t criticize people for singing in public. I have been guilty of Karaoke. I’ve even sung “Over the rainbow”.

I hope Keyes comes back to Naperville and belts out a few at a local Karaoke bar. (He marched in a parade in Naperville over the weekend. I live the next town over, but I didn’t attend the parade. My family was visiting.)
