Sorry, folks… I’m working on it.
UPDATE: You can leave comments again; we think we may have licked this problem for good now. We’ll see.
(The vacation is really nice, by the way. There was a party last night; we carved pumpkins and played silly games and danced with infants and sat around a bonfire. When I’m home, if she gives me permission, I’ll post a pic of Meg’s insanely great tree pumpkin. My life should be like this more often.)
Slacker. Get back here and fix your comments! :P
Does that mean they’re working again?
Looks like we 0wn the place
Cute kid. It all sounds great!
I couldn’t leave a comment on the I Sold Amptoons thread Monday morning or now. Maybe the thread is too long? This is a test.
Most likely the spamblock fairy took it. If so, then it will reappear shortly
Sorry to say, Amp, it appears the problem is not fixed yet, though it seems to depend on the thread, or possibly how busy your server is? I wouldn’t think it would be so busy at this time of night, but who knows.
Because of this problem I have taken the liberty of quoting both responses to my post, and posting my intended responses on my blog as comments to my thread, Men Who Claim Feminism, But.
Well, I’ll be. I decided to try one last time, and it went straight to Awaiting Moderation after a few seconds. When I tried before, Submitting Comment hung for ten, fifteen minutes until I gave up. I edited my blog accordingly.
Bah, Matt and I are both so jealous and wish we could have done the trip as well. Sounds like you all are having a blast. At any rate, you’ll be impressed when you all get back to see the pumpkins that little miss Sydney has been picking out for the porch (that matt and I have been obediently carving at her request). I’ll leave it as a ‘no spoilers’ surprise.
Angry S.
Don’t take the comments problem personally; two of my comments were munched also. I’d read this blog entry and figured the problem has gone from constant to erratic.
Since this isn’t my blog and I’m not familiar with the plugins Amp’s using, I have no idea what the problem could be. Because the problem seems to be erratic it’s going to be difficult to trace. In any case, it’s really not personal.
